Mixed League – Week 13 Results: Whiskey Hills Saloon I is in first with 50 wins. Witch Kitch II is in second with 39 wins. Back Yard I is in third with 33 wins. Individual leaders men: Mat Fox and John Leckliter are tied in first with 296 balls. Rich Milliman is in third with 291 balls. Individual leaders women: Michelle Frost is in first with 258 balls. Patsy Klemens is in second with 242 balls. Kayla Schafer is in third with 213 balls. The following had perfect scores of 24: Kevin Tarvell, Fred Chamberlin, Tony Anderson, Mason Riggle, Rich Halpainy, Bob Honaker and Jim Klemens. The following had a table run: Jim Klemens.

Olean 5, Steelers 0

The Paternosh Construction Steelers were unable to score a goal and lost to Olean. Playing strong offense for the Steelers was Jack Swanson, Sydney Frost, Hunter Hehir and Ikaika Wojcinski.

Good defense was played by Lauren Marshall and Alex Rush.

Austin Rott suffered the loss in net while making several difficult saves throughout the game.

Hammerhead Swim Club

Twenty-one swimmers attended an open meet hosted by the STAR Jamestown Swim Club at Jamestown High School on Saturday Jan. 5. Swimming in their first meet for HHSC were Alex Ahlstrom and Lillee Gould. HHSC swimmers had 15 first-place, 11 second-place, seven third-place and a total of 53 top-ten finishes at the meet. There were three new silver times and a total of 46 personal best times achieved.

8 & Under Division:

Announcements

Group exercise classes

Chautauqua Health and Fitness, located in the Turner Community Center at Chautauqua Institution on Route 394, is offering 13 group exercise classes this winter.

Classes include morning and Saturday cycling sessions, Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, Zumba Fitness, ballroom dancing and a water workout class in the Turner Community Pool. Classes begin Jan. 7 and will run for ten weeks. An American Red Cross CPR/AED for Lay Responders certification course will be held Feb. 16, with a registration deadline of Jan. 23. A Pilates mat workshop will be held Jan. 10.
