The Hanover Community Chamber of Commerce held its reorganizational meeting on December 20, 2012. The meeting was hosted by Estelle Crino at Pinewoods Cottage on York Road in Irving. Kelly Borrello was elected as the HCCC President for 2013.

Borrello stated, “I am excited to see the renewed commitment by the County Chamber to Hanover. I look forward to our business community taking advantage of this opportunity and getting involved in their future.”

Plans were made for the events of the first half of 2013 including a presentation on how the Affordable Care Act and the New York state health insurance exchange will affect New York businesses by the Small Business Assistance Program, the annual Membership Blitz, a Business After Hours mixer at Cabana Sam’s scheduled for June 13 to kick off the summer, and an effort to raise funds to resurface the Village tennis courts.
