Pa. man facing multiple drug charges in Westfield
WESTFIELD – Westfield Police Department has arrested a Pennsylvania man on several drug charges following a traffic stop in the village on Wednesday.
Phillip D. Trohoske, 21, of Wattsburg, Pa. was charged after a car he was a passenger in was pulled over at 1:08 a.m. on North Portage Street. Police observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed and with a broken windshield. Police pulled over this vehicle which was operated by Eran J. Sonney, 23, of Girard, Pa. Sonney was charged with speeding and having a broken windshield. Officers observed Trohoske in possession of marijuana and a marijuana bong in plain view. He was also found to be in possession of multiple bags of marijuana, ecstasy and psilocybin mushrooms, a hallucinogen.
Trohoske was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was arraigned in the Village of Westfield Court and bail was set at $15,000 cash and $30,000 property. Further charges may be filedpending lab results.
