Dunkirk IDA meets today in City Hall
It’s been quite some time since the Dunkirk Industrial Development Agency has met. That will change today as the DIDA will meet at 4:30 p.m. in City Hall.
Chairman of the six-member board is Development Director Steve Neratko. First Ward Councilman Michael Michalski and City Clerk Lacy Lawrence join city residents James Oddo, Thomas Murphy and Anthony Popielarz on the board.
The board was approved by Common Council in June 2012.
“We’re excited to get that going again,” Mayor Anthony J. Dolce stated recently. “We have some money for low-interest bonds to encourage development.”
According to its 2013 budget report, the DIDA has $192,000 in revenue budgeted from state subsidies and grants.
