JCC signs agreements with St. Bonaventure
JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Community College has signed a transfer agreement for students interested in St. Bonaventure University’s sports studies degree.
Students pursuing the sports studies degree have the opportunity to develop concentrations in human development and learning, human movement sciences, and sports communication.
The agreement guarantees junior standing and the opportunity to complete the bachelor’s degree in four semesters to JCC students who complete specified coursework as part of their associate’s degree.
JCC graduates are exempt from St. Bonaventure’s Clare College (general education) requirements. Students who transfer a minimum of 60 credit hours receive junior standing.
A separate agreement allows students who are registered for 12 or more JCC credits to take one additional course free of charge at St. Bonaventure each semester on a space available basis.
