Grape Belt Seniors

The Grape Belt Seniors are looking forward to the group’s first pot-luck luncheon of the new year. It will take place on Monday at noon. Everyone is invited to bring a dish to pass and enjoy a relaxing lunch with interesting and welcoming people. There will be a brief general meeting after the luncheon.

Readers Theatre will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 10:30 a.m. This is the perfect group for someone who enjoys reading aloud, acting and having fun. Yoga class will continue to meet every Friday in February at 10:45 a.m. Bring a yoga mat and bands and enjoy this exercise technique. Newcomers are welcome.

The knitting and crocheting group will be meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 10:30 a.m. Those attending may bring whatever project they are working on and meet other women who enjoy these crafts. All of these groups are free and look forward to welcoming new participants.

David Wendt will be returning to the Senior Center on Monday, March 4 at 10:30 a.m. so that he can answer questions and describe in detail the Pennsylvania Rail Adventure Vacation taking place from May 14-17. The tour includes three nights of lodging, five meals and reserved tickets for two different dinner theatres. There will be a professional tour manager on the trip to make sure everything goes smoothly. For more information about this tour, call 672-5274.

There are also two casino bus trips planned. The first one is on March 27 and the second one is on April 24. Each trip costs $25 per person and in return, participants receive $20 in slots and $5.00 toward food that can be used toward the newly remodeled buffet.
