Mr. and Mrs. Michael (Mirelys) Corsoro
On Sept. 22, 2012, with the Hall of Philosophy at the Chautauqua Institution as the backdrop, Michael Corsoro and Mirelys Morales were united in marriage. The Rev. Cara Seekings officiated the candlelight ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Rafael and Miriam Morales of Concord, N.C. (formerly of Jamestown). The groom is the son of Frank Corsoro of Arlington, Va., (formerly of Dunkirk), and Pamela Corsoro of Dunkirk.
Dylan Leone of Dunkirk played the acoustic guitar to accompany the bridal party as they walked down the aisle. The bride wore a strapless white and ivory gown with a sweetheart neckline and corset closure. She was escorted by her father.
Carrie A. Corsoro of Alexandria, Va., served as maid of honor. The bride’s attendants included Itza M. Morales of Jamestown, Christie Corsoro of Alexandria, Elizabeth Rodriguez of Dunkirk and Julie Corsoro of Arcade. Emily Waite of Alexandria served as an honorary bridesmaid.
Benjamin Velk of Dunkirk served as best man. The groomsmen included Andrew Corsoro of Seminole, Fla., Brett Tofil of Dunkirk, Rafael Morales Jr. of Concord and Michael Carreras of Silver Creek.
The nephew of the bride, Jayden Morales, handled the ring bearer duties. Serving as the flower girl was Ava Lytle of Charlotte, N.C., cousin of the groom.
A reception was held at the Chautauqua Suites Meeting and Expo Center along the shores of Chautauqua Lake in Mayville.
Mrs. Corsoro is an inside sales representative with DFT Communications, Inc., in Fredonia. Mr. Corsoro is a car hauler with United Road Services.
The couple shared a post-wedding autumn road trip through Canada and the New England area. The groom is planning their honeymoon to Puerto Rico for their one-year anniversary. They reside in their new home in Silver Creek.
