Snow warning in effect through Tuesday at 4 a.m.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a lake-effect snow warning for Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and southern Erie counties. This is in effect until 4 a.m. Tuesday.
The heaviest lake effect snow is expected through Monday morning. Additional lake-effect snow is expected through early Tuesday morning.
Accumulations are expected to be 4 to 8 inches Sunday night, 2 to 4 inches Monday and 1 to 3 inches Monday night.
In addition, a special weather statement reported moderate to heavy snow was located from Westfield to Springville at 9 p.m. Sunday. This area was expected to remain through 11 p.m.
The weather service urged caution if traveling in the area, which includes Interstate 90 between Silver Creek and the Pennsylvania state line.
