High School Bowl contests held

JAMESTOWN – Falcon-er Central School defeated Youngsville High School 72-26 but lost to Cassadaga Valley Central School 75-46 in recent WJTN High School Bowl matches at Jamestown Community College.

In the match with Youngsville, Rachel Anderson and Weston Young of Falconer were named Players of the Match. Katelyn DeChard of Cassadaga Valley was Player of the Match in the other contest.

The Falconer team, coached by April Binkley, also included Lydia Everett, Brook Simpson and Krista Cooley.

Youngsville team members included Gregg Yost, Kelie Lindstrom, Kylie Westover, Dan McLaughlin, Hailey Olsen, Sam Tome, Andy Lalwani, Denise Devore, Adison Bidwell, Austin Mechling and Jon Pollow. The team is coached by Gary Monza.

Cassadaga Valley team members, coached by Wendy Dyment, also included Maya Sischo, Emily Marsh, Hunter Caskey, Chrissy Seibert, Alyssa Caskey and Nelson Barker.
