Golubski sets Lucky Lanes Jr. Bowling record

Lizzy Golubski, of Silver Creek, rolled a record-setting 769 series Sunday while participating in the Lucky Lanes Junior Bowlers Senior AM league.

Golubski rolled games of 264-268-237 for the career-high 769 set. Her previous high series was 683. She rolled 26 strikes in her three-game set.

Golubski’s 769 series is the highest three-game scratch series bowled by any youth bowler in the history of Lucky Lanes Junior Bowlers program.

She is a senior at Silver Creek High School and a member of the girls varsity bowling team. She is the daughter of Tim and Brenda Golubski.

In the Saturday morning league, Golubski averages 179. She carries a 193 average for the Silver Creek Black Knights.

When asked about her fantastic bowling, she responded, “I was in the zone, I guess.”
