Kosciuszko Club and Paper Factory to sponsor Relay

for Life fundraiser

A Relay for Life fundraiser will be held Saturday at Rookie’s on the Lake in Dunkirk beginning at 5 p.m. There will be a $15 admission, which includes food and live music by Left of Center. Raffles will be held, and prizes include autographed jerseys from the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits. A silent auction will also be held. Presale tickets are available by calling Stacy at 680-1754. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.

Pine Valley to hold school carnival Feb. 22

The Pine Valley Central School, 7755 Route 83, South Dayton will host a school carnival on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the high school new gym. Children and families are welcome to attend to play games and enjoy dinner for a family friendly affordable night out. Food will be served in the old gym. Pizza, pop and water will be available for $1, popcorn and chips will be available for $.50, and hot dogs and cotton candy will be available for $.75. Tickets can be won to use toward food purchases by being a hero and stomping out bullying.

Live webinar

Jamestown Community College will host a live webinar as part of the Second Nature Security and Sustainability Forum on the Findings of the National Cli-mate Assessment Wednesday.

The program, which is open to the public, will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Lenna Theatre, located in the Hultquist Library building on JCC’s Jamestown Campus. For details on the webinar, contact Tom Meara, JCC’s sustainability program coordinator, at 338-1194.
