Maple Grove defeats Fredonia and Chautauqua Lake in High School Bowl
JAMESTOWN – Maple Grove High School defeated Chautauqua Lake Central School 104-77 and Fredonia Central School 67-56 in recent WJTN High School Bowl matches at Jamestown Community College.
Henry Kestner of Maple Grove, Collin Sutherland of Fredonia, and Mariana Mathewson of Chautauqua Lake earned Player of the Match honors.
The Maple Grove team, coached by Jason VandeVelde, also included Abby Sirwatka, Caroline Benson, Christina Walter, Keith Carolus, Nick Bowers and Elliott Clark.
Fredonia team members also included Taylor Engle, Shawn Epps, Kaleh Mendez-Demello and Ryan Davis. The team is coached by Kerry Seastrum.
Other members of the Chautauqua Lake team were Emilie Christie, Sam Snyder and Molly Hindman. The team is coached by Mary Jantzi and Kim Sweet.
