Silver Creek Republicans announce candidates for village election
SILVER CREEK The village of Silver Creek Republicans are excited to announce their candidates for village mayor and two trustee positions in the March 19 election.
This year’s candidates represent what they call a unified team of Nicodemo “Nick” J. Piccolo (Democrat) for mayor and Thomas R. Harmon (Republican) and Warren M. Kelly (Conservative), both for trustee.
The candidates they say they have committed to keeping politics out of the village’s agenda. They feel there is no place for political partisanship when making decisions in village matters.
The village has many important items to tackle this year and they think a unified team is needed to address them. They are all long-time residents of the village and are committed to working together to ensure that the village operates with accountability.
Together the Republican candidates will be able to offer Silver Creek a large amount of technical, administrative and professional experience. Piccolo has served as trustee for two separate terms in the village. Harmon is presently completing his first two-year term as trustee. Kelly is seeking his term as trustee but he brings along with him 24 years of experience in the architectural, engineering and administrative fields.
Silver Creek is facing some very important decisions and this team is ready to use their knowledge, experience and training to tackle and try to solve these matters. They have also committed to strive to control excessive spending and maintain a tax structure that all the residents can afford.
