Patricia Hudson

Patricia “Petie Jackson” Jaguszewski Pinkoski Hudson, 79, of Dunkirk died Monday (Feb. 25, 2013) at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa.

Born Aug. 26, 1933 in Dunkirk, daughter of the late John and Martha (Mroczka) Jaguszewski.

She graduated from St. Hyacinth’s School in 1947 and Dunkirk High School in 1951, “Most Athletic” in her class.

She was employed at New York Telephone, retiring in 1985, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

She enjoyed swimming, golfing, bowling and just having fun with family and friends. She traveled in her retirement and lived in Florida for several years.

She was married to the late Richard E. Pinkoski on Sept. 10, 1955 until he passed in 1974. They had three children together.

On October 2, 1979, she married the love of her life, the late Frederick C. Hudson, who passed away in 2000.

Mother of Richard M. (Beverly) Pinkoski of Dunkirk, Peggy Ann (Patrick) Begier of Dunkirk and Peter John (Christine) Pinkoski of Portland. Stepmother of Patricia Baron, the late Frederick “Fritz” Hudson and the late Michael Hudson.

Grandmother of Richard John (Dani Lyn) Pinkoski of Orchard Park; Amy Pinkoski, Samantha (Tony Dloniak) Begier and Pamela Begier, all of Dunkirk; Rachael Pinkoski of Golden, CO, Cassandra Pin-koski of Portland, Nick and Justin (Juli) Luther of Westfield, Jennifer (Lee) Carter, Jill Sharino and Joshua (Melissa) Hudson of Fredonia.

Great-grandmother of Richard James, Andi Rae and Kayden Pinkoski; Daniel Waite, Isabella Begier, Elizabeth and Liam Dloniak, Nash and Ronald Luther, Sophie Sharino and Ryan Hudson.

Sister of Jane (Norm) Pieszak and Rita (late Tom) Cieslewicz. Sister-in-law of Timothy (Mary Lou) Dykas. Patricia was preceded in death by in-laws Walter and Mary Dykas; brother Jackie Jaguszewski; and her sister-in-law, Jackie Dykas Shea.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morn-ing at 10 a.m. in Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hedwig. Interment will be in St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Chautauqua County, 20 W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750. Arrangements are by the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street, Dunkirk.
