Jamestown Community College’s student ambassadors are raising funds through a number of projects this academic year to support the college’s new Global Scholarships Fund. Managed by the JCC Foundation and coordinated through JCC’s office of international outreach, the fund provides modest scholarships to international students studying at JCC on a full-time basis as well as to JCC students studying abroad through a semester-long or full summer session credit course. JCC student ambassadors Ashley Johnson of Jamestown and Marya Hoffman of Gowanda were among the student volunteers conducting a basket raffle at the JCC Alumni Association’s annual interactive mystery. The ambassadors have additional fundraising projects planned throughout the spring semester.
