Troopers charge man with burglary

On Sunday, troopers charged Michael R. Jordan, 31, of Gowanda with second-degree burglary, falsely reporting an incident, and making a false written statement.

Jordan reportedly came into the state police barracks in Fredonia and reported his pickup truck had been stolen from Irving in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Troopers reported that he had entered a residence on Route 5 and 20 in Hanover without the knowledge of the occupants.

Jordan was processed at state police barracks in Fredonia and arraigned in the Town of Hanover Court. He is to answer charges there at a later date.
