Ahira Hall Memorial Library’s Tuesday Night Readers to meet
BROCTON – Ahira Hall Memorial Library’s book club, the Tuesday Night Readers, will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the main meeting room of the library. Refreshments to be provided.
The group will discuss “Little Princess (One Man’s Promise to Bring Home the Lost Children of Nepal)” by Conor Grennan and “Minding Frankie” by Maeve Binchy. Multiple copies of both books are available at the library. While there are two selections, you need not read both in order to come and participate in the discussion. Some members choose to just read one, while some will read both.
Julie Morrison Putcher, library director, has “conversation starters” available on both books. The conversation starters are questions about each read to help stimulate discussion and are available at the library. Also, there is the “No Meeting Book Club” format for anyone reading the book(s) but cannot or do not desire to actually attend the meeting. Contact the library for more information on this.
At the end of this meeting, members will be choosing the reads for the club next meeting. The Tuesday Night Readers meet the second Tuesday evening of every odd month. For more information, visit the library at 37 W. Main St., Brocton, or call 792-9418.
