Village of Westfield website revamped and upgraded

WESTFIELD – Officials of the village of Westfield announced that the official village of Westfield website has been upgraded.

“The site graphics have been modernized and the overall structure of the site has been improved. We hope this will make it easier for citizens to find out more about the village of Westfield and the services it provides,” commented Administrator Vince Luce.

Mayor David Carr noted that the village was one of the first in the county to have its own website.

“Our first site was developed through grant funds from the New York State Archives when I was a village trustee. We felt that after 15 years, it was time to upgrade.”

The village notes that the new site now links to its FaceBook page. The village and town historian also has a page on the new site.

Meeting agendas and minutes will be posted and there is also a link to the village’s “Ecode” for anybody interested in learning more about the laws which govern everything from water and sewer and flooding issues to zoning and trash/recycling.

The village eventually plans to be able to take property tax and utility bill payments online and also have links to its GIS data for everybody to be able to use.

“We also would like to have more e-surveys available to the public to ensure more rapid and progressive planning at the local government level,” said Luce.

Pictures and other content deemed appropriate for use by the public is always acceptable and welcome. Contact the village at info@Village of for more information.
