Sheridan church holds special service

SHERIDAN – Sheridan United Methodist Church will hold a special service on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Drew Heitzenrater will lead the service, with the sermon, “Coming to Yourself.” There will be Coffee Fellowship immediately following the service. All are invited to attend this worship and gather together with the church family. The Sheridan United Methodist Church is located at 2679 Route 20 in Sheridan. Call 672-2048 for information.

Classical guitarist to perform Sunday

Trinity Episcopal Church is hosting a concert featuring classical guitarist Giancarlo Sidoli at 3 p.m., Sunday. A recent graduate of SUNY Fredonia’s master’s program, Giancarlo will feature music from Italy, Germany and Hungary. A free will offering will be taken. The concert is open to the public. There will be a reception following the concert. Trinity Church is located on 11 Day St. in Fredonia, on Barker Commons.

Enjoy corned beef and cabbage Thursday

SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Assembly of God Church is planning a corned beef and cabbage dinner to be held on Thursday, March 14 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

The menu will consist of corned beef and cabbage or ham and cabbage, potatoes, carrots, coffee, tea or punch and homemade desserts.

The church is located at 1391 Route 20, Silver Creek.

There is no cost for the dinner although donations are gratefully accepted. For more information, call 934-4782 or 673-5532.

Church plans round and square dance

The Faith and Fun Bunch of St. Joseph Church will host a round and square dance on Saturday, March 23 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Collins Conservation Club, Conger Road, Collins. Music will be provided by Paul Zittel and the Pure Country Band. Admission is $7 per person, $5 for children ages 10-15 years old, or $20 per family.
