Democrats win in Fredonia

In the village of Fredonia, Democrats won the elections Monday. Susan Forrester Mackay and Phyllis Jones won the election with 396 and 397 votes, respectively. For village justice, David A. Prince won in an uncontested race.

Also on the ballot was a proposition to move the village elections from March to November. The proposition passed, 738 to 21. The elections will be moved to November starting in 2015.
