Zimmermann running for Gowanda trustee

Paul Zimmermann is running for a two-year term as trustee in the March 19 Gowanda village elections. He has served on the board since 2012, and is currently Fire Commissioner and liaison to the Neighborhood Watch and Beautification committees. He is chairman of the Thatcher Brook task force.

Zimmermann is a 1985 graduate of Gowanda Central School and attended Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a technical sales representative for Superior Printing Ink Company in Cheektowaga. He has been a village resident for 13 years has a son, Kyle, and a daughter, Emma.

He is a member of St. Joseph’s Church and two-time past president of its Parents’ Association. Other memberships include the Collins and Perrysburg Conservation Clubs.

“I am running to continue the positive momentum the village is experiencing,” Zimmermann said. “I choose to live in Gowanda because I feel it is a great place to raise my family.”

Zimmermann is running on the Open Door Party line. Election Day is March 19 from noon to 9 p.m. at the Gowanda Municipal Building, 27 E. Main St.
