First Annual Hillbilly Baseball Clinic

The first Hillbilly Baseball Clinic will take place on Saturday, March 23, from 9 a.m. until noon, at the Fredonia Central School. All participants are asked to enter the High School by the cafeteria.

The clinic will be open to boys and girls aged 7-12. The clinic will be divided into smaller age groups upon arrival. All participants are asked to wear gym shoes and to bring their own gloves. Participants will be allowed to bring their own bats and catcher’s equipment and are asked to label all of their own gear.

The Fredonia baseball coaching staff, including head coach Vince Gullo, will conduct the clinic, which will include two gyms, an indoor batting cage and indoor pitching mounds. The clinic will focus on hitting, throwing, infield and outfield defense and base running. Pitching and catching instruction will also be available.

The fee is $20 per participant, and $15 for each additional participant from the same family. Each participant will receive a Fredonia baseball T-shirt and water bottle.
