Four arrested after fight in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Police Department reported early today that a fight at 429 Lincoln St. involving a burglary occurred Saturday at 2:25 a.m.

Jonathan R. Ray, 21, and Chad T. Robbins, 21, both of Falconer and Casey R. Billyard, 20, and Kaitlyn N. Billyard, 18, both of Jamestown, were all charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree conspiracy. Ray was further charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Casey and Kaitlyn Billyard were also charged with third-degree assault.

Officers were dispatched to a reported fight and upon arrival observed several individuals fighting in the street, one in possession of a shotgun.

Reportedly, the individuals charged went to the Lincoln Street address looking for the victims who live there and attempting to recover a debt they believed was owed. All the subjects reportedly entered the home unlawfully at which point a fight began and spilled out into the street. One subject was struck by a baseball bat and another armed himself with a shotgun.

Another suspect fled the scene and the investigation is continuing.

The Jamestown Police were assisted by New York State Police, Town of Ellicott Police and Alstar Ambulance Services.
