After a stellar season that saw them reach the New York State Public High School Athletic Association’s Class C boys’ basketball Final Four, Silver Creek’s Zeddie Williams (senior), Kaine Kettle (junior) and Billy Brooks (sophomore) were named CCAA?Division 2 First Team All-Stars.

Brooks led the league in rebounding, averaging 12 per contest. Rounding out the First Team were Randolph sophomore Bryce Morrison and Portville senior Josh Watson.

Watson’s Panther teammate, Zach Blask, a senior, was named Player of the Year after averaging a league-best 20 points, 7.5 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game for Portville, which finished 17-3. All three losses came to the 24-1 Black Knights.

Frewsburg earned the team sportsmanship award.

The second team was made up of senior Tanner John and sophomore Jared Fish of Salamanca and seniors Tim Bender of Cassadaga Valley, Nathan Beaver of Randolph, Alex Elderkin of Frewsburg and Steve Marcey of Silver Creek.
