Samuel L. Arnold
Word has been received that Samuel L. Arnold, 71, of Westfield, N.Y., and Fort McCoy, Fla., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Fla.
He was the son of the late Medora Seavy Arnold and Lynn Arnold.
He was the owner and operator of Arnold Construction Services for over 43 years. He was a member of the Westfield LOOM, past member of the Westfield Fish and Game Club and past president of the Barcelona Harbor Commission. He loved hunting, fishing, boating and working with the earth. His passion was his children, his grandchildren and his work. He was always there to help the Westfield Fire Department and anyone within the community who needed help.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Donna Mallozzi Arnold; four daughters, Dawn Arnold of Lakewood, N.Y., Deborah Gross of Westfield, N.Y., Danelle (Dr. William) Greer of Pawley’s Island, S.C., and an estranged daughter, Tammy Lee Arnold Rothwell; four granddaughters, Marina Arnold of Westfield, N.Y., Chelsea Babcock of Ripley, N.Y., and Kaiden and Reaghan Greer of Pawley’s Island, S.C.; his sister, Ruth Neal of Portland, N.Y.; and three nephews, Mitchell (Jeanine) Neal of Fairfax, Va., Bruce (Karen) Neal of Westfield, N.Y., and Thomas (Diane) Neal of Silver Creek, N.Y.
Samuel was predeceased by his parents, Lynn and Medora Arnold; a sister, Anne Arnold; and a nephew, Daniel Neal.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed at this time. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
