Westfield Police

Westfield Police investigated a case of stolen cash from a purse at a sporting event at Westfield School Saturday. Officers used video surveillance from the school and found the larceny was caught on the footage. Further investigation led to a charge against Todd Reardon, 37, of Westfield, for petit larceny. Reardon was released on his own recognizance and will appear in the Westfield Village Court at a later date.

Robert M. Greenman, 57, of Bourne Street was charged with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana on March 23. Shortly after 2 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Bourne Street for a traffic infraction. During the stop, it was found Greenman was allegedly intoxicated. he was additionally found to be in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. He was released on appearance tickets for Westfield Village Court.

Jamestown Police

JAMESTOWN – A search warrant was issued Thursday for a residence on West Sixth Street following a drug investigation by Jamestown Police and State Police revealed narcotics were being sold from the address. Inside the apartment, investigators found Tyrone M. Smith, 28, of Jamestown. Smith was charged with felony third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, felony first-degree criminal nuisance and criminal possession of stolen property after several flat screen televisions, which were reported stolen, were recovered. Investigators also found a quantity of cash at the residence. Smith was taken to Jamestown City Jail awaiting arraignment. Anyone observing the illegal sale of narcotics is asked to call Jamestown Police Department’s anonymous tip line at 483-TIPS.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office

PORTLAND – Leonard J. Erhard, 35, of Westfield, was charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument after a traffic stop on Route 20 where Erhard was a passenger. He was taken into custody and arraigned in Westfield Court. He was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail on $500 bail and will appear in the Portland Town Court at a later date.
