CCB celebrates Community Banking Month

LITTLE VALLEY April is National Community Banking Month and Cattaraugus County Bank will join thousands of independent bankers across the country to celebrate. Independent community banks, like CCB, make a combined effort to discuss with the public the important economic and social contributions their banks make in their hometowns, creating jobs and circulating money back into their communities. CCB is celebrating at all eight locations.

Beginning Monday, CCB branches will celebrate community banking by accepting entries from friends and customers to win a Canyon Ridge Composite Liquid Propane Fire Pit. Look for an entry form on CCB’s homepage of its website at, as well as at any CCB location. Compare On April 26, one lucky winner will be drawn and notified.

What makes this particular celebration and give-away special is the involvement of CCB employees and their creative ideas. Employees at each CCB location will be competing with their co-workers by conceiving a unique design idea to promote awareness of independent community banking display. Customers can enjoy coming into the bank to see just how creative the folks at this independent community bank can be. Branch displays will be completed for the week of April 22 and judged by a “secret evaluator.” The winning branch employees will receive a special prize. Refreshments will also be provided to visitors the entire week of April 22.
