Westfield wins two High School Bowl contests, Fredonia one

JAMESTOWN – Westfield Acad-emy & Central School defeated Fredonia Central School 59-49 and Warren Area High School 74-59 in recent WJTN High School Bowl matches at Jamestown Community College.

Alex Michaels, Greg Momberger and Ashlee Poletto of Westfield earned Player of the Match honors.

In another match, Fredonia prevailed over Cassadaga Valley Central School, 67-33. Kaleh Mendez-Demello of Fredonia was Player of the match.

The Fredonia team, coached by Kerry Seastrum, also included Taylor Engel, Shaun Epps, Constantinos Landis and Ryan Dolce.

The Westfield team, coached by Jeffrey Payne, also included Don Wood, Abby Wood, Kaitlyn Meegan, Peter Manzella, Chris Cochrane, Josh McCord, Davis Bates, Ariel Fuentes and Dakota Pramesa.

Warren was represented by Molly Berardi, Meghan Stewart, Shoshanna Ochocki, Taylor Proper and Maggi Hansen. The team is coached by Michael McElhaney.

The Cassadaga Valley team featured Katelyn DeChard, Maya Sischo, Hunter Caskey, Emily Marsh, Alyssa Merrill, Chrissy Siebert, Nelson Barker and Alyssa Caskey. The team is coached by Wendy Dyment.
