Family Movie Night fills cafeteria

NORTH COLLINS – North Collins Elementary School PTA hosted Family Movie Night recently with a showing of “Wreck It Ralph.” The students, parents and grandparents filled North Collins Elementary School Cafeteria and turned it into a theater with freshly made popcorn and bottled water as a snack. Students were encouraged to wear their PJ and slippers for comfort.

There were 102 students present who were entered into a drawing for DVD copies of the movie. Congratulations go to Cianna Tobia and Taylor Phillips, the lucky winners.

Thanks went to event coordinators Heather Jasinski, PTA President, and Monica Shultz, PTA Vice-President.

The PTA also collect electronic recycling items of inkjets, cell phones, laptops, laser cartridges and other small electronic items for recycling as part of the Recycling Rumble going on through April 30. Funds raised by recycling allow the PTA to sponsor Family Fun Events provided free to the community of North Collins.
