Twenty years ago — 1993

David D. Sundlov, son of Linda Darling, 281 Chestnut St., Fredonia has been named to the dean’s list at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. A 1991 graduate of Fredonia High School, he is a sophomore majoring in human factors engineering.

Thirty years ago – 1983

Only serious students of science need apply for openings in Brent Wolford’s comparative anatomy class at Dunkirk High School. The gist of the course is the dissection of a common house cat. Comparisons are then drawn between the cat and the anatomy of man. Mr. Wolford instituted the course last semester, which was filled quickly by 15 would-be doctors, nurses, pharmacists and dentists.
