Daniel J. Morales, 29, of Falconer was charged with failure to use designated lane and unlicensed operation on March 29.

Mallory K. Betts, 29, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment on March 30 on a previous charge.

Ethan Figueroa, 40, of Mullet Street was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating without headlights on March 30.

Anthony F. Price, 44, of East Courtney Street was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to signal, speeding, second-degree criminal impersonation and operation without an interlock device on March 31.

Alexandra Delmont, 25, of Cassadaga was charged with second-degree possession of a forged instrument and petit larceny on April 1 on previous charges.

Bethany Patterson, 21, of Deer Street was charged with second-degree obstruction April 3 on previous charges.

Ashley Nicholson, 25, of East Sixth Street was charged with resisting arrest April 3 on a previous charge.

Jose Ruiz Jr. of Coconut Creek, Fla., was charged with third-degree assault, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance on April 3 on a bench warrant.

Alex E. Sam, 25, of Lake Shore Drive West was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle on April 3.

Sharlene A. Downey, 22, of Lake Shore Drive West was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle on April 3. She was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana on April 3.

Jose R. Santiago, 32, of East Front Street was charged with second-degree criminal contempt on April 4 on a warrant.

Torrey Kenny, 19, of Westfield was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property on April 5 on previous charges.

Arianne J. Moreland, 23, of Webster Street was charged with second-degree harassment on April 5.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office

FRENCH CREEK- On Friday at about 11:45 p.m., Christian R. Kinney, 24, of Sherman was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI (blood alcohol content .18 percent or higher). fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana, open container of alcohol, and parking on the highway.

Sheriff’s patrol located a vehicle stopped in the travel lane of Conway Road. The vehicle was running and the lights were on. The deputy pulled along side the vehicle to check on the driver, and the vehicle appeared to be unoccupied. The deputy then conducted a traffic stop and reportedly saw a male slumped over the driver’s seat apparently unconscious and open containers of alcohol in the vehicle’s cupholder.

Reportedly, the deputy woke the subject, identified him as Kinney, and conducted sobriety tests. Kinney was unable to complete the tests safely. The deputy reported finding a switchblade in Kinney’s pocket and marijuana in the vehicle.

Kinney was transported to the sheriff’s office in Mayville. He was released the following morning to a sober third party, and will answer charges in the Town of French Creek Court.

POMFRET – On Saturday at about 1 a.m., Cortney Tomsick, 23, of 71 Gardner St., Fredonia was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, moving from lane unsafely, and failure to keep right.

Tomsick was stopped on West Main Road for reportedly moving from her lane unsafely and failing to keep right. Further investigation reportedly revealed Tomsick was intoxicated.

Tomsick was taken into custody and later released with appearance tickets.

POLAND – On Satur-day at 2:40 a.m., Michael Schimek, 25, of Cherry Creek was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance outside the original container.

Sheriff’s patrol stopped a westbound vehicle on Route 394 for reportedly not having a front license plate displayed. Reportedly, Schimek, a passenger in the vehicle, had a baggie containing three different types of pills. Deputies were able to identify that two of three types were controlled substances for which Schimek did not have a prescription.

He was released to appear in court.

New York State Police at Jamestown

NORTH HARMONY – On Saturday, Brandon Chase, 20, of West Smith Street in Corry, Pa., was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Chase was stopped for a reported traffic infraction. When speaking to Chase, the officer reportedly smelled marijuana. The trooper searched the vehicle and reportedly found a plastic baggie containing less than 25 grams of marijuana.

Chase was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of North Harmony Court on April 18.

ELLICOTT – On Saturday, Wayne G. Serra, 36, of Bolivar was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, first-degree felony aggravated unlicensed operation, consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle and refusing a breath test.

Troopers received a call from an acquaintance of Serra. The complainant said that Serra was operating his vehicle without permission and was headed toward Jamestown on I-86. Troopers located the vehicle and reported that Serra failed sobriety tests. Serra reportedly had multiple DWI convictions. He refused a breath test and reportedly had a revoked license.

Serra was arraigned in the Town of Ellicott Court and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail with no bail
