‘McDonald’s Farm’ comes to life with real animals at library
SILVER CREEK – In celebration of the Month of the Young Child, the Anderson-Lee Library will host a children’s program on Saturday at noon.
Join entertainers Dave and Kathleen Jeffers as they present, “Ms. McDonald’s Farm: Storytelling with Live Animals.” This “all about animals” performance features storytelling, a petting zoo with ducks, chickens and a rabbit, and balloon animals for children to take home with them. The show promises to be both fun and educational.
The Month of the Young Child is observed every April by organizations whose missions include serving and educating young children. The Anderson-Lee Library is proud to take part in this annual celebration.
The library suggests that visitors check out its updated collection of children’s books and videos, as well as the new children’s area rug purchased by the Friends of the Anderson-Lee Library. There are many new books and displays of interest to adult visitors as well.
