Congressman Reed’s staff in Cattaraugus County Wednesday

Congressman Tom Reed’s staff will hold remote office hours Wednesday in Randolph and Gowanda.

Staff will be at the Ran-dolph Town Hall, 72 Main St. in Randolph from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and in the Vil-lage of Gowanda at 27 East Main St. from 1 to 3 p.m.

Reed’s staff will be available to answer questions and gather feedback and concerns from constituents.

Town zoning board workshop Wednesday

The town of Dunkirk Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a workshop session on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the town hall, 4737 Willow Road. The purpose of the workshop is to continue with revisions to the zoning manual.

Brocton to present ‘Mark Twain Live’

The Ahira Hall Memorial Library and Brocton Central School will present Mike Randall as “Mark Twain Live!” on Saturday at the Brocton Central School Auditorium. The show will begin at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10 and all proceeds will benefit the library. Tickets may be purchased at the library at 37 W. Main St., Brocton during regular business hours Monday and Wednesday 1 to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tickets may be reserved by calling the library at 792-9418. Any unsold tickets will be available at the door starting at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Hannah Farley guest on ‘Dialogues’

Hannah Farley, a senior at SUNY Fredonia majoring in environmental science, is the guest this week on “Dialogues.”

Farley is president of the local Campus Climate Challenge. She is very involved with this week’s Earth Week activities and the Chautauqua County Green Expo. Recently, she also became the new Gleaning Project Coordina-tor for Chautauqua County Rural Ministry.

The new episode of “Dialogues” premieres on Fredonia Cable Access today and will repeat on Thursday, as well as April 23rd and 25.

The show airs at 6:30 p.m. each night.

Swiss Steak Dinner Saturday afternoon

The Cherry Creek/Leon United Methodist Church on Main St. in Cherry Creek will hold a Swiss Steak Dinner on Saturday beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children, and family pricing is available.

Meal includes a beverage and homemade dessert.

Blessed Mary Angela Parish to host Parish Life Open House

Blessed Mary Angela RC Church in Dunkirk will hold a Parish Life Open House to be held in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the beatification of Blessed Mary Angela on Saturday at 5 p.m. at the St. Hyacinth Church lyceum on Lake Shore Drive East and on Sunday at noon at the St. Hedwig social center on Townsend Street.

Representatives from more than 20 parish ministries will be in attendance showcasing what they have to offer to the parish and how parishioners can become more involved. Light refreshments will be served.
