NCSA celebrates 25th anniversary with soccer camp partnership

As part of its ongoing 25th anniversary celebration, the Northern Chautauqua Soccer Association (NCSA) announced a soccer camp partnership with Challenger Sports, providers of the USA’s most popular soccer camp program – British Soccer Camps.

British Soccer Camps provide players of all ages and abilities with the rare opportunity to receive high-level soccer coaching from a team of international experts. Hundreds of Challenger coaches each year have helped the company develop one of the most innovative approaches to coaching youth soccer in the U.S. Challenger’s experienced trainers study the game at all levels, and have identified the key techniques and skills that youth soccer players need to work on and master to reach their true potential.

Each day at camp includes training in individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, small-sided games, coached scrimmages and a daily tournament. Equally important, the Challenger coaching staff provides children with lessons in respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and leadership.

The camp will be held during the week of June 24-28 at Fredonia High School. Camp programs include a free ball and shirt, as well as a free British Soccer jersey for online registrations received 45 days prior to camp (by May 10).

One lucky soccer player from Northern Chautauqua County will also receive a scholarship to the camp. On May 1, NCSA board members will randomly draw a name from entrants who have registered on the NCSA Facebook page. The winner of the scholarship will be announced on the facebook page on May 2.

To register for the drawing for a free camp scholarship, interested players should “like” NCSA’s Facebook page, then be sure to click “like” under the camp scholarship registration posting.

If a camper has already paid for the week of camp by the date of the drawing, he or she will be reimbursed. Players may register or find information for the camp at the following link:|1|26508.
