Registration begins for Westfield Summer Basketball

The Westfield Summer Basketball League will have two leagues: An A league, which will be a very competitive league, and a B league, which will be a more recreational league.

However, unlike last year, both leagues will be a register your own team league.

The league staff will have final say on which league a particular team enters and priority will be given to teams that have competed in the past.

Games will be played at Westfield Academy and Central School.

In order to play in the league everyone must have appropriate behavior both on the court and on school grounds, respect all of the property at the school and respect the officials and understand that they’re doing their best.

Violation of the above standards will result in removal from the league.

The entry fee is $40 for Westfield residents and $50 for all others.

It is highly recommended teams get sponsors so that it doesn’t cost each person as much to participate. All money goes to league officials to pay the staff that runs the league and also league awards.

To sign up a team, contact Andrew Webster either by phone (753-6842) or email (awebster122@gmail.com) by June 1.
