Wanted man found in Lakewood
LAKEWOOD – Several anonymous tips allowed the Jamestown and Lakewood-Busti Police Departments to find Donald W. Dean, 38, of Jamestown, who was wanted on drug charges.
Police took Dean into custody Tuesday at 10 a.m. at a residence on Lakecrest Avenue.
Dean is charged with third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, a class D felony, and second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A2 felony, stemming from a narcotics raid on Friday at 181 Barrows St., Jamestown. The investigation found methamphetamines were being manufactured and sold at the address.
Dean was transported to the Jamestown City jail pending arraignment.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office
CHAUTAUQUA – Brandon L. Hogue, 20 of Mayville, was charged Friday with second-degree assault, second-degree menacing and unlawful imprisonment after he allegedly assaulted an individual with a sword at his residence. Hogue was arraigned in the Chautauqua Town Court and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail.
MAYVILLE – Julio A. Arizmendi, 23, of Dunkirk, was taken into custody Thursday on a warrant for violation of probation. Arizmendi was featured on the Chautauqua County Wanted List. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.
MAYVILLE – Joshua Lanphere, 23, of Jamestown, was taken into custody Thursday on a warrant for violation of probation. Lanphere was featured on the Chautauqua County Wanted List. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.
