Veronica (Pasinski) Jensen, 89, of Fredonia, N.Y., died Thursday (April 25, 2013) at the Chautauqua Home with her family at her side. She was born June 6, 1923 to the late Michael Pasinski and Katherine Szarniak Pasinski. Veronica was the wife of the late Henry Jensen, Jr. She was an avid card player, and especially enjoyed pinochle. Veronica was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, an active volunteer with Fredonia Senior Citizens when it was based at St. Anthony’s Church and at one time she worked at Kasbohm Chicken Farm.
Mrs. Jensen is survived by her children: Henry Jensen III (Sandra), Kathleen (Paul) Trusso of Fredonia, and Terry (Susan) Jensen of Fredonia; grandchildren: Henry Jensen IV, Anthony and Nicole Rotunda, Michael and Matthew Jensen. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband Henry, Veronica is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Ann (Late John) Warren, Ceil (Ken) King, Casey, Henry (Late Rita), Edward (Late Marie), John (Late Esther), Jean Shives, and Amelia (Late David) Raymond. Funeral services will be held at 10 am this morning at the Larson-Timko Funeral Home, 20 Central Ave., Fredonia, with Father Charles Zadora presiding. Interment will be in Webster Cemetery.
