Clymer man charged with third-degree grand larceny

FRENCH CREEK – On Tuesday, Tyler L. Gabriel was charged with felony third-degree grand larceny by state police from Jamestown.

Gabriel reportedly stole a tractor from a farm located on Marks Corners Road and sold it to a scrap yard. The tractor was valued at $3,500. The tractor was sold to the yard on Dec. 8, but the owner only recently realized that it was missing.

Gabriel is scheduled to appear in the Town of French Creek Court at a later date to answer the charge.

Dunkirk Police Department

Donte Chambers, 19, of Brooks Avenue was charged with second-degree obstruction and unlawful possession of marijuana on April 30.

Tony L. Stewart, 30, of South Gazelle Street was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and harassment on April 30.

Joseph D. Tucker, 43, of South Gazelle Street was charged with disorderly conduct on April 30.

Juli A. Thomas, 44, of Lake Shore Drive East was charged with disorderly conduct on April 30.

Luis A. Santiago-Mendez, 19, of Deer Street was charged with violating the noise ordinance, unlicensed operation and having no insurance on April 30.

Daniel W. Seeley, 47, of Silver Creek was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance on May 1.

Jacob W. Soggs, 30, of Irving was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia on May 1.

Chelsea M. Garahan, 39, of South Dayton was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, stopping on highway and improper signal on May 1.

Jean Carlos Rodriguez-Diaz of Lincoln Avenue was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree menacing on May 2.

Carl A. Moore, 31, of Woodrow Avenue was charged with obstruction on May 3.

Silver Creek Village Court

Michael Munson, 52, of Dunkirk, was convicted of driving while intoxicated and will be sentenced on June 5.

Michael S. Musilli, 23, of Central Avenue, Silver Creek, pleaded guilty to three counts of petit larceny and will be sentenced June 5.

A 16-year-old Silver Creek boy pleaded guilty to criminal trespass. He will be sentenced in November.

Jose Pratts, 27, of Fredonia, pleaded guilty to unlicensed operation and was fined $160.

Sara Ramsdell, 27, of Monroe Street, Silver Creek, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was fined $225.

A 17-year-old boy from Maple Place, Silver Creek, pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon and received a one-year conditional discharge.

Justyn J. Vara, 21, of Fenner Street, Silver Creek, pleaded guilty to petit larceny and will be sentenced July 3.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office

NORTH HARMONY – Jeremiah J. Kays, 25, of Erie, Pa. was charged with having improper plates, unlicensed operator, unregistered motorcycle, operating without a helmet and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle on Friday.

Deputies stopped Kays on Route 394 in the town of North Harmony for riding a motorcycle without a helmet at 2:30 p.m. It was discovered Kays was wanted from the state of Pennsylvania.

He was arraigned in the Town of North Harmony Court as a fugitive from justice and the above charges and was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail.

GERRY – Edward J. Nickerson, 17, of Sinclairville was charged with failure to keep right on May 2. Nickerson was traveling east on Gerry Ellington Road when he allegedly fell asleep at 4:25 p.m.

The vehicle overturned several times, coming to rest in the opposite lane. He was transported by Gerry Rescue to WCA Hospital for minor injuries.

Nickerson was released on his own recognizance and will return to court at a later date.
