Forestville 10, Panama 0

FORESTVILLE – Ryanne Dugan pushed her scoreless innings streak to 34 Wednesday, as she went the distance in Forestville’s 10-0 win over CCAA Division 3 foe Panama.

Dugan allowed just three hits while striking out nine for the Lady Hornets, who sit at 10-1 overall and 8-1 in league play.

“She pitched well,” Forestville coach Brianne Hazelton said. “(Panama) only had three hits and they were all singles. She pitched well and hit her spots.”

Precious Kaczor led the way for Forestville at the plate with a triple, home run and three RBIs while Cherish Pope added three singles and two RBIs of her own. Dugan helped her own cause with a 3-for-3 performance.

“Precious had gone a couple of games without good hits,” Hazelton said. “So to see her hit that home run, it was nice.”

Brittany Lenart, Francine Torres and Jill McIntyre had the hits for the Lady Panthers while Carly Abbate suffered the loss in the circle after allowing all 10 runs on 12 hits. She struck out two and walked two.
