Closest to the pin on the par 3’s; Jeff Thomas on No. 4, Derek Ressler on No. 7. Closest to the pin on the second shot: Pat Swanson on No. 3. Skins were won by Arnold, Jason Remington and Swanson. Carriage House vs. Lucky Lanes

For Carriage House, Oz Odebralski was the defensive standout at first base while Tyler Sullivan and Benjamin Seigel were sluggers on offense. For Lucky Lanes, Joseph DiCarlantonio and Pascal Parsons were MVPs on offense and Luca Bamonto and Silvie Konegni were defensive standouts.

Davis Construction 7,

Family Orthodontics 5

Davis Construction’s four-run fourth inning was the difference against Family Orthodontics. Sarah Davis continued to dominate the plate with another 4-for-4 effort and also scored three runs. Lukas Hoffman, Hunter Hegner, Cameron Crowell and Keegan Whitfield each added two hits.

For Family Orthodontics, a late rally in the bottom of the sixth fell short. Bradley LaGrow went 4 for 4 at the plate. Justin Powell, Mark Levens, Jacob Markham and Fred Gullo each added at least two hits.

Hanover Little

League – Minors

Norm’s Towing 7, SC Firemen 2

Hunter Haskins and Hunter Parks each had two hits, including a double, in a victorious effort for Norm’s Towing. Travis Brennan and Maxwell Vigue knocked two singles each while Brayden Smith earned his first win on the mound.

Shawn Kelly and Brady Giberson paced the Firemen with two hits each.

Norm’s Towing 8, Ferber Auto 5

Hunter Haskins hit the go-ahead RBI single in the bottom of the fifth to lift Norm’s Towing past Ferber Auto. Brayden Smith homered and Matt Woleben doubled twice while Haskins, Max Vigue, Eric Overmyer and Ryan Michalak added two hits each in the win.

Andy Piccolo led Ferber Auto with a double and a single. Lucas Clark collected two hits while Alyssa Castle doubled in a losing effort.

Gowanda Men’s Softball League Begins May 30

The Gowanda Men’s Thursday Night Slow Pitch Softball League will begin on Thursday, May 30.

All games will be played at Hidi Park, a fully enclosed field located on Broadway Road just outside of the village limits.

Teams from Chautauqua County are encouraged to join the once a week league. There is no registration fee and all equipment is provided by the league.
