Cynthia A. Kiber

SOUTH DAYTON – Cynthia A. Kiber, 58, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 11, 2013.

She was born December 13, 1954 in Gowanda, New York the daughter of the late Kenneth and Ruth (LaBaron) Gens.

Cyndi was a bartender for South Dayton American Legion and an owner operator of a retail store in Texas in earlier years. She was a member of the South Dayton American Legion and had served as president and treasurer of the legion’s ladies auxiliary.

Cyndi will be remembered for her friendly fun loving spirit and love of friends and family.

She is survived by her former husband, Bill Kiber of Highland, TX; her daughter, Mindy (Denny) Langworthy of Olean, NY; four brothers Steven (Cari) Gens, Kenneth (Kathy) Gens Jr. of Gowanda, NY, Randy (Patricia) Gens of Oxnard, CA, Glen Gens of Leesburg, FL; three sisters, Wendy (Patrick) Hale of Wasilla, AK, Susan Gens of Highland, TX, Sharon (George) Crumb of Clewiston, FL; two dear friends, Louise Fox, Robin Smith of South Dayton, NY; four grandchildren, one great granddaughter, numerous nieces & nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Gens and Scott (T.C.) Gens.

Visitation will be held at Hills Funeral Chapel 478 Balcom Corners South Dayton, New York on Friday May 17, 2013 from 7-9 P.M. and on Saturday from 1-2 P.M.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Hills Funeral Chapel. Pastor Thomas O. Maynard of Celebration Fellowship will be officiating. Burial will be in the Villenova Cemetery.
