The Station Art Gallery to open in former railroad passenger depot

WESTFIELD – The Station Art Gallery, located in Westfield, announces that it will open on Saturday, May 25, in conjunction with the Chautauqua/Lake Erie Art Trail’s fifth annual open studio tour. The gallery is located in the restored New York Central Passenger Railway Depot which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The gallery is home to nationally recognized artist Katherine Brown Galbraith whose representational work includes landscapes, plein air, portraits and her signature train paintings. In addition, her landscapes and plein air pieces feature the Chautauqua County area, focusing on Westfield and its surrounding countryside. Galbraith studied under Daniel Greene, NA, and Robert Phillip, NA, at the National Academy Museum and School of Fine Art in New York City. She is a member of Oil Painters of America, the Portrait Society of America and the North Shore Arts Alliance.

The Station Art Gallery is located at 11 English St. in Westfield. The gallery will be open for the Chautauqua/Lake Erie Art Trail the weekends of May 25/26 and June 1/2.
