NORTH HARMONY – Sean P. Reardon, 51, of Ashville, was charged Wed-nesday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation and speeding after a traffic stop on Route 394.
Reardon was stopped around 10:15 a.m. when it was found his license had been revoked from a prior drug related driving offense. He was issued tickets.
JAMESTOWN – An investigation into the sale and trafficking of crack cocaine in the city of Jamestown resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of crack cocaine, cash and charges against a Jamestown man Wednesday.
Jamestown Police drug investigators were assisted by New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team with a vehicle stop on Cole Street around 11:20 a.m. Joseph S. Zaso, 29, of Jamestown, was a passenger in the vehicle when he was allegedly found to be in possession of more than three ounces of crack cocaine and over $2,000 in cash. It is believed the drugs were to be sold in the city.
Zaso was charged with third-degree possession of a controlled substance. He is being held in Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment. The investigation is ongoing and further arrests are expected.
