Silver Creek spaghetti dinner Tuesday

Italian night Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria is brought to you by the Silver Creek High School Key Club.

Price of admission comes with spaghetti with your choice of pasta sauce, bread, drink and dessert. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5.50 for seniors, $5 for children under 12 and children under three are free. Tickets are available at the door.

Brocton PTSA?holds meeting

The Brocton Central School PTSA held its regular monthly meeting on May 9 in the elementary school library.

The PSTA will donate $500 to the 2013 After Prom Event and agreed to pay for the 2013 Senior Breakfast and the Brocton Elementary School Field Day on June 14.

The PTSA is looking for any volunteers to donate their time to help at the Brocton Elementary School Field Day on June 14. Contact the Elementary School Office at 792-2100 if you are able to help.

The next Brocton Central School PTSA meeting will be held on June 6 in the elementary library. All parents are welcome to attend.

Hanover water bills due today

Hanover Clerk Janine Salzman reminds town of Hanover water customers that the last day to pay water bills without penalty is May 17. Late payments will be charged an additional 10 percent penalty fee. Payments can be made at the town clerk’s office in the Hanover Town Hall before 5 p.m.

Honoring our veterans – call if missed flag

During the next several days, local veterans organizations and other groups will be decorating cemeteries by placing U.S. Flags on all veteran’s graves. If any graves were inadvertently overlooked, please go to Dunkirk Memorial Post 62 or Fredonia Memorial Post 59 any day after 3 p.m. and pick up a flag.

Leon Mother Daughter Brunch Saturday

Mother and Daughter Brunch to be held on Saturday, May 18 at 11 a.m. at Leon Celebration Fellowship Church at the intersection of Route 62 and Cherry Creek Hill. Committee forming to discuss use

of Cassadaga Elementary School

The first meeting of the committee to discuss the future use of the Cassadaga Elementary School will be held June 13 at 7 p.m. in the middle/high school multipurpose room. Anyone interested in serving on this committee should contact the district’s administrative office (962-5155) as soon as possible.
