Silver Creek Village Court

Machele N. Gilbert, 27, of Central Avenue, Dunkirk, was arraigned for second-degree aggravated harassment. She was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail and returns to court June 5.

Cody J. Cook, 21, of Jackson Street, Irving, was arraigned for third-degree assault. He was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail and returns to court June 5.

A 17-year-old Christy Street, Silver Creek, male was arraigned for third-degree assault and curfew violation and was released under the supervision of his mother and returns to court June 5.

James M. Hurley, 19, of Jackson Street, Irving, was arraigned on third-degree assault. He was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail and returns to court June 5.

Gowanda Police Department

Michelle M. Kielar, 34, of Jamestown Street was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and trespassing on May 11. Police responded to an incident of trespass on Jamestown Street at 10:20 p.m. where Kielar had allegedly ignored a no trespass sign. Kielar had been previously instructed to not enter onto the property.

Once on the property, Kielar intentionally tipped over a young child’s sandbox causing damage. Kielar was released on an appearance ticket for the Persia Town Court.

Joshua W. Schiefer, 20, of Erie Avenue was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana on May 12. At 8:41 p.m. police responded to an East Main Street residence as part of a continuing investigation where Schiefer opened the door. Police observed marijuana inside the residence and a small baggie containing cocaine. Schiefer was released on an appearance ticket for the Collins Town Court.
