Gowanda Men’s Softball Tourney Set For June 8

The 18th annual Gowanda Men’s Slow Pitch Softball Tournament will be held on Saturday, June 8. It will be a double-elimination tournament with a home run derby. The entry fee is $75. Call Mark Benton at 532-4053 or email hidibenton@aol.com for more information.

Hollyloft group bicycle ride today

Riders from Team Hollyloft will be hosting group bicycle rides today at 1 p.m., meeting on the Dunkirk Pier.

Groups will be divided into casual, recreational and advanced. Rides will last about two hours, helmet required and bikes in good shape.

There is no charge or donation for the rides. Riders must be 18 years and older.

Fredonia Boys Basketball Camp

The Fredonia Central School Boys Basketball Camp will be held Friday, June 28 and Monday, July 1 through Wednesday, July 3, at the Fredonia High School and Middle School gymnasiums from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cost for the camp is $90, or $75 if paid by June 7. The camp is open to boys entering grades 3 through 12. All campers will receive a T-shirt.

Each athlete is expected to arrive between 9 and 9:30 a.m. The camp will start promptly at 9:30 a.m. Participants are expected to bring their own lunch.
