FBI?seeking additional information concerning David Allen Vickers
BUFFALO – Richard M. Frankel, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investiga-tion’s Buffalo Division, Tuesday announced that the FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in determining if David Allen Vickers, 49, of Stanley in Ontario County, has attempted to or has had contact with additional children.
If you know of children who have had contact with the defendant, or, if you are now an adult and had contact with the defendant when you were a minor, please call the FBI at 716-856-7800.
Vickers was arrested on May 17 and charged by criminal complaint with transportation of a minor with intent to engage in sexual activity.

This investigation is being conducted by Special Agents and Task Force Officers of the FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force under the direction of Richard M. Frankel, Acting Special Agent in Charge; Special Agents of the U.S. Secret Service, under the direction of Tracy Gast, Special Agent in Charge; and Detectives of the Batavia Police Department, under the direction of Police Chief, Shawn Heubusch.
The agencies that comprise the Child Exploitation Task Force include the FBI; the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, under the direction of Sheriff James Voutour; the Buffalo Police Department, under the direction of Commissioner Daniel Deren-da; and the Cheektowaga Police Department under the direction of Chief David J. Zack.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
