The Women Who Golf For Fun – Pat Daniels won with the lowest score, Pat Kaus followed in second place and Jane Ellman and Sandie Gloss tied for third. Phyllis East was declared player of the day. The women met for lunch after golfing. They will continue their game next Wednesday teeing off at 10 a.m. Members are reminded tee off will change to 9 a.m. in June.

Wednesday Morning Ladies Purple Posse League – The Purple Posse League game was “Think About It.” First place went to Jeanne Pagano and Linda DeJoe, second place Marcia Casella and Grace Miller third place Barb VanDette and Marie Aniszewski. The greenback prize went to VanDette.
The league is schedule to play on Wednesday May 29, meeting at 9:30 a.m., teeing off at 10 a.m. All skill levels are welcome, join any time.

For Carriage House, Sydnee Hoffman shined at first base while Bryce Bacher and Collin Pergrim were sluggers on offense.
For Beaver Club, Brody Winchell was the MVP on defense with Jack Szydlo, Mark Drummond and Wilson Szydlo being sluggers at the plate.
Kosciuszko Club 11,
Koty Leeper went 3 for 3 with a home run and a double. Colton Kuzdzal and Ibriam Lopez went 2 for 3 with two doubles each.
Tyler Davis had five strikeouts for the winners.
Lucas Porpiglia went 2 for 3 with a double and Michael Porpiglia added a hit for the Exempts.
Lucky Lanes 14 Police 4
Patrick Muldowney and Jared Glowniak combined on the mound only allowing three hits and striking out 13 for Lucky Lanes. Felix Garcia had three hits and John Banach had two hits.
For Police Michael Norton had a double.

Leading the offense for Lake Shore Savings were Tayler Skelly, Summer Clark and Brooke Szymczak, each with two hits. Handling the pitching duties for the Lady Bankers were Emily Pacheco and Jamaladie Pacheco.
Mackenna Schulenburg took control of the pitchers mound for Local 912 along with Courtney Zatorski and Sierra Porpiglia adding to the defensive effort. The heavy hitters for Local 912 were Gracie Kenner and Makayla Shaeffer.
Gowanda youth soccer begins June 3
The Gowanda Youth Co-ed Soccer Program will begin at Monday, June 3.
Instruction, drills and scrimmage games will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on five consecutive Monday nights ending July 1.
Students currently in grades K-6 are eligible to participate.

baseball Chicken BBQ
The Chautauqua Lake Thunderbird varsity baseball team will hold a Chicken BBQ this Saturday at the American Legion on South Erie Street in Mayville.
Dinners will be served from 12 p.m. until gone. The cost is $8, and proceeds benefit the Thunderbird baseball program.
Tickets may be purchased by any team member, or by contacting head coach Mike Cummings at 640-3695.
Fredonia Central School will host a girls basketball camp Monday, June 24 to Thursday, June 27 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The cost of the camp is $95 per camper or $80 if paid by June 1. Those who send five or more students from the same school and send in their applications together can deduct $10. It is open to all girls entering grades 3-12.
Each player is expected to arrive between 8:30 and 8:55 a.m. The camp will start promptly at 9 a.m. Athletes are expected to bring their own lunch. There will be cold pop, water and Gatorade for sale at lunch time and at the end of the day. All athletes should have their ride pick them up at 3:30 p.m. All parents are welcome to come to the awards ceremony at 3 p.m. on Thursday.

Gowanda Men’s Softball Tourney set for June 8
The 18th annual Gowanda Men’s Slow Pitch Softball Tournament will be held on Saturday, June 8. It will be a double-elimination tournament with a home run derby. The entry fee is $75. Call Mark Benton at 532-4053 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The Fredonia Central School Boys Basketball Camp will be held Friday, June 28 and Monday, July 1 through Wednesday, July 3, at the Fredonia High School and Middle School gymnasiums from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost for the camp is $90, or $75 if paid by June 7. The camp is open to boys entering grades 3 through 12. All campers will receive a T-shirt.
Each athlete is expected to arrive between 9 and 9:30 a.m. The camp will start promptly at 9:30 a.m. Participants are expected to bring their own lunch.
