Woman sentenced in fatal DWI crash

BRANT – A Brant woman has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for a fatal crash in the town of Brant.

Danielle Kellogg, 24, was sentenced to the maximum sentence for crashing into a vehicle operated by Denise Hine, 31, on Route 20.

Kellogg pleaded guilty to first-degree vehicular manslaughter for the death of Hine’s infant daughter, Baylee, who died as a result of the crash.

Kellogg’s vehicle crossed the center line causing the accident and she admitted to using alcohol and drugs prior to the crash. She had a .13 blood alcohol content.
