Universal Unity of Spirit to host special guest speaker

CASSADAGA – Universal Unity of Spirit will host guest speaker Teresa Schaeffer on Sunday. The topic is “Shakers and Movers.” She will share her research and insight on the religious teachings and practices of the Shakers. At 1 p.m., healing and prayer chaplain services will be offered. The lecture/lesson is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. A pot-luck picnic open to all will conclude the day’s activities at 89 N. Main St. (Route 60) in Cassadaga. Holy Trinity Church to hold ‘Healing Mass’

On Wednesday, Holy Trinity Church in Dunkirk will hold a “Charismatic Healing Mass” at 7 p.m. Father Richard DiGiulio will be the main celebrant. The church is located at 1032 Central Ave.

Memorial Day Mass set at St. Mary’s Cemetery

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church will celebrate a special Mass on Monday, Memorial Day, honoring all those who served in the military, protecting the nation’s freedom.

This Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery at 9 a.m. All are welcome and asked to bring a lawn chair.

In case of inclement weather, the Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 328 Washington Ave. in Dunkirk.

Make reservations for final luncheon

The Altar & Rosary Society of St. Dominic Church will meet for their End of the Year Luncheon on Friday, June 14 at the White Inn at 1 p.m. All women of the parish are invited to attend and are asked to RSVP by June 7 to Jean at 467-2642 or Anna at 326-3570.

Special Mass at Blessed Mary Angela Parish

This Sunday only, the regular 8:45 a.m. Mass has been moved to the 9 a.m. Mass at St. Hedwig’s Church. At that one-time annual Mass the church will be commemorating the deceased members and veterans of the Kosciuszko Club and the Murray Hose Company No. 4. All are welcome.

LILY DALE – The guest speaker will be Rev. John White at the Church of the Living Spirit’s Sunday service, 10:30 a.m.
